Karla’s unique spirit is reflected in her imagery. She was raised in Sun Valley, Idaho, and her love of the road and back mountains fostered her ability to tell a story. While at Brooks Institute of Photography, Karla traveled often taking portraits and landscapes throughout the West. Much like the spirit of those who ventured West, Karla is an explorer, entwining the landscape with the people and creating powerful imagery through her lens . Her relocation to Nashville enabled her to perfect her style within the music industry. “The mountains were calling” and she returned to the West. Karla’s work can be seen locally and internationally.
